Great breakdown. I appreciate the barrel life included. Could you do a comparison with 223 and 6.5CM so people understand what a range gun is costing vs more shooting for less? This is why 22LR is becoming so popular. What does Lapua Center-X cost?
223 Rem

Thanks again. I’m revisiting this while contemplating a 300PRC. Not incredibly more expensive to shoot than a 6.5 really.
If your are in this sport trying to shave a as few cents a round you should consider 7.62x39 corrosive.
I shoot a LOT of 22LR. The centerfire doesn’t need to be especially cheap.
