Snap Election incoming Sept. 20th potentially

Nothing in politics is guaranteed and the only poll that truly counts will happen on Sept. 20th. We have all heard this old saying, "It ain't over until the fat lady sings." I'm done; just waiting to cast my vote at the earliest possible opportunity. See post #238

I can tell you that as a fact that if my riding didn't have a PPC candidate in 2019, I would simply stay home. And that's exactly what I'm going to do in 2021 as well.


CPC doesn't own conservative votes. We're not your livestock to herd. If you want my vote, then embody conservative values.
And if you want leftist votes, then keep pandering to them, I don't care. But don't come here blaming me for not voting for you. That was your choice, not mine.

Trudeau has already won. NDP may deny him majority, but he will remain PM this year. The blame for that lies squarely on weakness and sleazebaggery of CPC.

This isn't about spite. This is about not rewarding bad policies and lack of leadership with votes. If you want to be in the same no win position in 2025, then by all means vote for CPC and let them know they haven't shifted far enough left and haven't alienated enough conservatives. And O'Toole is just all around great guy, and really it's all just PPCs fault that Libs keep winning.

OR...

You could tell CPC to get their #### together for 2025 by denying them vote today.

Your vote is the only voice you have and the only thing politicians will listen to. Waste it away if you wish.

Love em or hate em, this country is MUCH more liberal/center than the USA, there isn't a snowmans chance in hell that the PPC has some super hidden secret silent majority that is going to sweep the country. It isn't going to happen.

Volunteer, and start practicing your smiling and friendly conversation skills. Don't call people LIBTARDS and LIEBERALS and SNOWFLAKES, its going to make the CPC seem VERY unappealing.

When its all over, Canada uses paper ballots and the election is instituted by a separate non-partisan entity, we have an uphill battle and we might not win, but that doesn't mean people go crazy and start the "Stolen election" bullsh!t and NO STORMING GOVERNMENT like in stupid USA plz.

Way, way too late this time around. We have run out of time and need a stay of execution. Shooting holes in your life boat at this moment is not a rational move. Trying to convince others not to vote CPC and saying the election is already over with a predetermined outcome is your speculation at best. Nothing in politics is a guarantee. Life is one big compromise and that is especially true in politics. But hey, do whatever makes you feel better.
 
I’m sure of this, with mail in ballots being allowed, Gerald butts and the whole liberal crime squad are busy filling out as many as possible, probably got Hillary and bill helping out to with snc lavallin printers running hot, and WE backing it all up, I don’t like o’toole but what other choice do you have ? How anyone can vote for the absolute corruption this country has been put through in the last 2 waves of Trudeau is beyond me , absolutely the biggest traitor this country has seen in my opinion. You right idea, but got it backwards. It's too late to support CPC. To win in 2021 you had to have started building coalition and support at least in 2020. Now you're just flailing in desperation.

I'm just a guy on the internet, so you don't need to trust me. But you do need to trust CPC when they're publicly backing away from election and squealing in terror after its announcement. You don't need to be political scientist to notice CPC's position is much weaker than in 2019 when Trudeau had major corruption and black face scandals on his hands. Since then CPC elected even meaker leader than Sheer and abandoned all major policy issues that set them apart from LPC. All while Trudeau is riding high on the cash he's throwing around.
Nothing is guarantee, that's true. A major asteroid may fall on Canada tomorrow and user another ice age. As far elections go, the Lib win is assured.
 
Even though Erin is an utter tool, the CPC is the only party that has a chance of challenging the LPC. A vote for the PPC or any other fringe party is simply a wasted a vote. I'd rather take my chances with O'Toole than another 4 years of Trudeau. If Trudeau wins, I'm quite confident gun ownership will come to an end. He may allow you to keep pump/lever action firearms, but that's about it. Say bye-bye to anything semi-automatic.
