If you could only have one handgun...

Had to think about this for a few minutes...

It was a toss up between my Crimson Trace laser gripped 4.25" Ruger Suger Redhawk in 454 Casull that I set up for remote area defense ATC carry or my 4.25" Glock 29 10mm with a spare 4.25" 40S&W barrel that I set up for both remote area defense and CCW when in the States.

The 10mm doesn't cut it for the big bears and the SRH is to much gun for CCW...

OK the question should be which 2 handguns.... :D

I had thought about my G20 or 29, also... especially as, having either one with a spare .40, .45, and .357 barrel (I think all three options are available for both) would allow you ammo flexibility, as well :)

I would have to say the SIG 229R in 9mm. I have fallen in and out of love with a lot of handguns, and shot a lot of different ones, but the 229 is a true MVP. I can't think of a single bad thing to say about it. I can shoot it so much better than any of the guns I have owned. It's one of those special guns where the bullets just seem to find their way to the place you want them to hit - whether shooting fast or slow. It's got some weight to it. It sits down so well in your hand. Balanced. Accurate. Excellent trigger. It just rules. I want another one!

Dan Wesson CBOB

This is a bad question. Why? I have fallen in and out of love with even more guns than women. In my present frame of mind I would opt for my Dan Wesson CBOB 45acp and I would have a 10mm slide fitted to increase my affection for it. Regards, Richard:D

How about one handgun for all 3 purposes.
I guess my question could be framed as "Could you live with just one handgun?"

Pretty tough question and I was about to answer with a 1911 until I hit the 'all 3' which would tilt it towards my 5" 686 7 shot revolver. I could 'live with just one handgun' but would I be happy or have quality of life???? ;) :(

Still waiting for the paperwork. But it will be a Glock 34.
Cheap to shoot
Reliable
Accurate
Best bang for the Buck, when you purchase from Questar.
