Anyone here any more news about grandfathering or the buy back? (Heard recent estimates suggest $758 million of banned firearms).

I don't see them offering any actual 'money'. At best, tax incentives though more likely another round of bans and we get nothing. Remember, the liberals are big on words, mostly those that are misleading and untrue. They can spin that $758 million dollars a dozen ways to Sunday. Processing/collection, enforcement, destruction of said firearms etc, etc.

I've seen "voluntary buyback" a few times but that wasn't coming directly from the LPC.

I don't know about any nefarious antics going on with PPC but CPC is going downhill quickly so I can see why some politicians don't want to be associated with them any longer. That doesn't sound like being a traitor to me if they have better ideas than appeasing everyone by being right wing leftists.

Bro im in the same boat as you. I hate for having to vote for a pro lgbt party but its a temporary solution for a social problem. We need more time for a party like ppc to be a viable option.

Never was on welfare, but as of tonight I am no longer in liberal hell, provincially, let's hope all Of Canada sees this and it is a sign of things to come, the NS Conservative Party moved slightly to the centre, and won the election, the federal Consrvatives are doing the same thing hopefully to the same results, doing that shows Canadians we are notextreme in any way and the liberals,, doing what they are doing shows them as hard left, bordering on socialism, so much so that you can't tell them from NDP, we need to be the good option to Trudeau and the liberals!

I suspect that Trudeau is pretty concerned about the PC win in Nova Scotia tonight as the Liberals were riding high in the polls , and the PCs crushed them . Expect Trudeau to dole out even more billions of borrowed money in trying to buy the federal election .
