Any info on these? The ones for sale in Canada...are they refurb with new barrel or are they totally new? They feel like the 226 to shoot? Thanks for any info.

They are new in box with Canadian 106mm barrel. Quite big size for a polymar gun. Sig didn't really push them but they were used in France for LE.
Anyhow I have read some reviews about them in the sigforum and all postive. They said it has the best trigger among polymar gun.

Thanks. Did search of threads and some questions were answered as well. Now If I can find me a rental to try it out...
I think DVC indoor shooting center has one for rental, but I am not sure it is a 9mm or .40. you may email them to confirm that.

It will arguably become one of the most popular pistols in the world given the number Sauer are selling, the French contract is the largest pistol contract since WW2.
It's not as good as a P226 for target shooting, you just can't get the trigger pull to the same standard, although out of the box you're not going to notice. I don't think they're as accurate either, but that could have just been the trigger pull because I haven't rested one.
However, it is an extremely durable pistol, if not the most durable pistol ever made, they seem to last forever.
