I was thinking of selling my Ithaca Model 37R Featherweight which I've had a few years but rarely used. Have no idea on the value of this thing, was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what it may be worth? Stock in great shape, rubber butt, no pitting, etc...Thanks in advance!

that pretty much has it for price. i've got a 37 with 28" VR never been fired, a deerslayer slug barrel with sights and two stocks, one shortened with pad, the other regular length with no pad. i can't get $450.00 for the whole smash.ithacas don't to hold much value in this part of the country and apparently elsewhere as well.

That being said, I have two Ithacas with more into them then they are worth in the CGN EE are, but I love them both and they will never be for sale :)

One is a ww2 era commercial 37 with the checkered receiver groove, checkered walnut stock, two fitted barrels. One a full choke, the other is an Imp Cyl. I'm actually having it reblued to like new because I like it so much :)

The second one is a 1958 made featherlight with an 18" cylinder bore barrel, ghost ring sights, laminated stock, single-pont sling attachment and it's parkerized. This is my close-in slug gun :)

Ithaca 37 = AWESOME shotgun.

the one i'm trying to dump is a 1975 model 37. i've got my dads,1948 version with 28" mod. plain,30" full plain and an old 30" full i cut to 20" for slugs and drilled and tapped the reciever for a scope and this one's NOT for sale, i shot my first duck with it.sweet gun and like you i love ithacas.i have more invested in this one ,than what it's worth as well. it's a weakness of mine. damn guns!!!

20 gauges are found to be more valuable in the U.S. I paid $290 for one of those in the plain barrel version here in B.C. last year.

Could we have some pics please?:D

I have a featherweight in 16ga MOD Choke. Awesome gun! The best shotgun I ever owned. Light, points like a charm and slam-fires! 5 shots out in 2 seconds!:D
