Yeah but most of us hate to see the new guy on the firing line clearing jamb after jamb after jamb, ect ect ect.... its just not safe, and its discouraging to new shooters. Personaly I think the new shortest bbl ruger hunter with the fluted bbl is sweet looking. Though the standard stainless model is a nice gun. I have never had a jamb in my mk 2, ever!
Yeah I hate to see it also but what are you supposed to do?
He asked for advice and we gave it to him. He decided to reject it. Sure he is making a mistake but he is a big boy and is allowed to. Just think of it this way. He has a limited budget. He will probably buy a POS off some one who now knows better and will be more than willing to get rid of it. This may allow the previous owner to buy a decent gun with the money from this sale.
You have to like the look of the gun that you shoot. If he doesn't like the look of a decent gun then it will never perform well for him. It is unfortunate that the type of gun he likes is one that is somewhat lacking.
Maybe his expectations are really not that high. He might only be a 7 yard shooter.
As long as he is able to keep the muzzle pointed down range during malfunctions then there will be little risk to others.I hope ancorp has a sense of humor.
