If you're familiar with Accurate molds, check out this one: 38-273M. They advertise it as a paper patch mold but it comes out of the mold at .377" I powder coat them, size them to .378" and shoot them in my 38-55's Very accurate and the meplat is large.
Here's a 100 yd target:

PS: Disregard the load info on the target, the load was 20 Grs IMR 4198! The left group is 1 1/8" X 7/8"
PM me if these would work for you. Happy to help if I can!

Pursuant to this post....while loading some test loads for the 38-55, I had the opportunity to compare the meplats on the Accurate bullet (.290") versus the LEE (.230") The difference is apparent in the photo.

PM me if you want samples.

just receive cast bullet from a member today
when I receive the sako kodiak will see if they load good
I do this by filling the nose to a larger me plat until it does not feed
this seating at the correct OAL each time

my meplat in these 375 245gr hrdcast is around .275...... is this good or bad for hunting?
velocity lower than ideal perhaps, but hear the meplat does alot of the killen.. .275 seems 'wide' enough for a .375 boolit to me?

Mind if I hijack this thread a bit,

When ordering a mold, wouldn't you want a mold that drops them out at .376 and size to .376?

What would you figure is the ideal diameter to order a mold and to size to fit a 375 bore? I thought the rule of thumb was to cast and size .001" larger then bore diameter.

in machining there is a + or - when ordering

so to be certain not to get a undersize mold you order a bit bigger to size down

go on accurate mold ordering and you will understand

I designed 2 moulds for .375's and had them made by Tom at Accurate. If you would like a half-dozen of each, let me know. I wanted a 70% meplat for hunting purposes. While the 270 grain bullet was originally designed for my .375 Fl. N.E. 2 1/2", it works in both my Ruger #1 & my Whitworth.

I seem to remember that you will affect accuracy above .75 of your caliber, at least in pistols.
Then rifle speeds help your meplat a lot. Did you test expansion and penetration?
