Doubtful. There are many more people would would be interested in a .223 than one in an obsolete and unobtainable cartridge. I have no idea on true value. $1500? Maybe more?

I’d pay $2000 for it. Even if it was a 222 Rem Mag.

I paid over 2k for it over 10 years ago. I haven’t seen another in Canada since.

There is one just like yours on guns international for $2995 USD that doesn’t have near as nice wood as yours however With conversion I think you would be hard pressed getting roughly $3850 CAD for it unless someone just has to have it and you never know because every gun has a buyer...I got many safe queens too and that one would be hard to sell 4 me..nice gun!

Hmm ...I never thought of it that way before...maybe the 3K mark is pretty obtainable for your gun...There is a very nice sako 85 Deluxe on here for sale and It’s over 3K if I remember correctly so hey why not!

I also have somewhat of a same era safe queen/varmint gun.I got a mint Japan 224 WBY Deluxe varmintmaster with 26” heavy bbl/French walnut wood.I can think of a handful of guys who would buy it Tommorow but probably not for $4K CAD because I won’t sell it for less than that.chances are it will just get passed down in the family.

I’ve never seen an old Sako go for more than $2500 ish on CGN. Yes, there are other avenues to buy and sell. The average price of the 5 deluxe models I have is $2200. Of course there are always those buyers who have deep pockets making the price irrelevant. Sako 85’s are so over priced it’s crazy but such are the times. Just like the TRG models. 20 years ago they cost less than a Sako 75. Guess I’m still living in the past. I should have bought a crate of TRG 22’s.

That's a beauty. I would think $2,000 easily. I would list at $2,400obo and see what the interest is like, it's close to par with new Sako 85's and they don't look nearly as pretty as the Vixen.
