Looking for a Canadian source for bullet molds

I wouldn't call a $100 custom mold expensive. I get custom molds from America and have never paid less than $200 USD to have them made. But then I'm looking for high quality molds for long range target competition.

I shoot with a fellow competitor that has a very good opinion of Boomers molds. I plan on ordering a mold from him this year for one of my schuetzen rifles.

Chris.

Boomers has been out of business for a couple of years. Retired and no one took the business over. Accurate moulds in the U.S is a costume mould maker. Will make to your specifications. Excellent to deal with. Last moulds where just under $200 to my door. 6 to 10 weeks to get. Choice of aluminum, brass and steel. I only have his aluminum moulds. As good as NOE moulds and a lot better than Lee moulds.

Buffalo Arms in Idaho exports to Canada, they have a great selection
If you go to BACO's website, you will see that all molds are "Out of stock" Apparently made on order basis. $195.00USD for a single cavity mold. That would make it well north of $300 Can. + shipping, taxes and duties landed at your door. Pretty spendy!!! Having said that, I'm presently casting 38-55 bullets with a BACO 378-300-M3 ( 300 gr "Money" style bullet) mold borrowed from a friend and I must say, the mold is flawless and drops a flawless bullet.

I'm not one of those guys with dozens of moulds. But I am one of those guys who believes it's worth it to buy a mould that the bullets drop out at pretty much exactly the dimensions I want, with minimal sizing required afterwards.

I have some RCBS 35 caliber rifle moulds that are very, very good, despite the fact they don't throw bullets of exactly the dimensions I would specifify if ordering a mould.

One of Veral Smith's moulds from back about 1993. Also very, very good.

Also an NOE and a SAECO... also pretty good.

I haven't tried them all but I turned to Accurate Moulds after... what's his name now... Rob Applegate?... became famous and turned to churning out his designs as fast as he could for the Cowboy crowd. No more custom work.

Anyways, I have purchased three Accurate Moulds, all brass, each of the two cavities being a different design. So, six different bullet designs, altered to conform to my measurement specifications. Every one of those mould cavities drops it's bullets with dimensions exactly as specified.

And he has dozens of different mould designs that you can use as the basis if you want to alter them.

I don't know if Accurate Moulds is the best, but their ability to put exactly what I specified in my hands is good enough for me if I ever want to add to my mould collection.

If I remember correctly, my last two cavity/two different designs mould cost $160 USD.

KAL only makes PP molds.

I have a 3 cav. brass mold coming from NOE for $108.00 USD.
This mold was in stock.
Far cry from $200.00 Canadian.
I would have bought a similar mold (4 cav. Brass $108.00 USD) from Arsenal Molds but they had a 5-6 wk. waiting peroid and "Winter is Coming". :(

Accurate mold in the us. Ship to Canada.

You can specs out the alloy you use and dimensions at no extra cost. Great mold.
Choice of material and # of cavities.

Better than NOE mould that are not bad at all by themself but way less customizable.

KAL NEVER replied to any emails or calls. I just moved on to Accurate even if I wanted a couple of his mould.

For pistol..any will do.. but got many Lyman that look like new after many years of use.
