West of most places....and in Alberta
I have a few of those reloadable 38 rimfire cartridges from Dixie Gunworks.
Of course I will require 22 blanks and the proper black powder. Most likely Alox lube for the outside.
Was wondering what diameter of round ball is most suitable for a pocket revolver?

Curious...

Edit: I have on hand: .375 .380 & .389.
 
I’ve loaded with round balls before. They work just fine as long as they fit the case well. When using lube on black powder stay away from petroleum based lube. I just use crisco if it gums up shooting dry. Some bore butter in the bore and chambers before shooting helps too.

Yes. I used TC bore butter last time with ROA.
No high shot first trigger pull and easier clean up too.

Instead of .22 blanks you can pull the bullet on regular .22 shorts and use that. I have had success with that in the past but did cut a slit in the .22 to ensure BP in the whole case began burning ASAP. SPG LUBE works great and I also have used bore butter in the cylinder/barrel. Never an issue with clean up - hot water/dish liquid.
