Hey guys

I’m going to try and do most of my duck hunting this fall with a nice 3” Rem 1100 20 I picked up this summer. I like a shell belt when I bird hunt, but most I can find are made for 12ga.

Any recommendations for a good 20 gauge shell belt? Brand and where to buy? I can find one on Amazon, but it only goes to 41” and that might be tight around my jacket.

Thank you

I use the beretta wild ones. I have them in 12 20 and 28 still looking for the 410 version. Good quality. Available at epps. Sfrc. Prophet river. Al flahterys among others. Even direct from stoeger

They have padding along the back which makes them comfortable and they hold the shells well

I am using one of those Browning neoprene hand warmers for the last couple of years.
Keeps my hands warm .... and the shells are at hand. And I can just turn the whole thing and so that it sits on my back and out of the way if needed.

12ga shells fit in there tight with the neoprene stretching .... I would assume 20ga would fit as well ...

I use one almost the same except mine doesn't have shell holders on the belt, works fantastic!

Having outgrown my lovely stitched saddle leather shot belt (it was always a bit tight), I bought a neoprene one similar to the handwarmer unit pictured above, but without the hand warmer, so it holds about a box of shells. The shells go into secure pockets and I believe they would hold 20 G even better than they do 12, it being a little tricky to extract a 12 from them quickly. Sold at Cabelas, not at all expensive and mine was half price because one pocket was unstitched. Luckily I have this rescue device at home called 'a needle and thread.'

I have used the Neoprene shell belts meant for 12ga for both 16 and 20 by pushing the shell deeper so the extra width of the rim is held by the elastic in the belt. Most belts are made for 3.5” 12ga shells so plenty of space to slip a 3” 20 in.
