Anyone know how to forward that to the deer out in my back forty.
Someone has gotta tell them. They don't exist! LOL!
They are like efffin rats, everywhere. Still more Mulies than WT here, but a few weird looking gaits seen every year, and a fair few flagging tails as they bugger off....
I have a strong suspicion that if clues were dynamite, the guys that colored in that map would be pretty safe specimens! LOL!
Can anyone point me in the right direction or recommend some areas to hunt whitetails, im from Manitoba and usually go home to hunt but this year im thinking of sticking around and giving it a go here. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks guys
Can only hunt big game in BC with a guide as an out of province hunter.
The map is from the year 2000.
The WT deer were here before that.
The map is probably as good a place as any to start, but finding the deer is better.
The Northern Reaches of Eastern BC are essentially an extension of the Northern Boreal and prairie country, I would expect to find the same deer there as anywhere across the strip of the Boreal.
I have not spent enough time in the South East corner of the province to tell you anything about what to expect there.

Honestly sounds like to much non sense to deal with, I’ll be heading back home to hunt my uncles farm. Thanks again guys
It is not complicated. Anywhere east of Highway 97 between Osoyoos and Salmon Arm has whitetails.
