Every year the company I work for fundraises to the united way and to try and get as many people donating money as possible the company puts 3 prizes up for grabs. For every dollar per week you donate you get your name in a hat so the more you donate the more times your name goes in the hat.3rd prize is 1 day off with pay,2nd prize is 3 days off with pay and 1st prize is 1 week off with pay.Guess which one I won, yup, the week off with pay.
So,in order to get what I want ( an extra week deer hunting ) I tell my wife that that's good for someone that likes summer holidays and I hate summer holidays so she says why don't you use that week next fall and go deer hunting for another week ( ),so I say I think you've got a good idea so sure, why not !!!.
Sometimes you just have to out fox the fox to get what you really want :D.So now it looks like I'll be moose hunting for 1 1/2 weeks in october,2 weeks in november for the rifle hunt and I'll just have to take another week now for the muzzy hunt in december, all this will be just too hard to handle, not,:p.
That's my story with a happy ending !!!
I guess I'll have to buy a muzzy gun now as well, this is getting way to hard to handle,

Muzzle Loader Hunting

It's great you got the prize and you are going to use it hunting. It’s a fitting way to make use of the prize. I don’t give to the United Way either, but give to IWK.

I wrote an essay in High School and won first prize. Used the prize money to buy beer for the weekend, the money came from the Christians Women’s Temperance League.

The muzzleloader is easy to use just have to practice and if you make up your loads before hand it’s no big problem hunting. I shoot traditional cap locks and they are great. Just practice with one and you will kill whatever you want at a couple of hundred yards. The main things to remember are you only have one shot, and follow through. You have to hold on your target after the shot because it doesn’t discharge as fast as a cartridge gun so you don’t relax for another second after you squeeze the trigger. If you shoot black powder for a while you will probably be a better shot with a cartridge gun.
