Well it took nearly 19 months for this project to come to full fruition. I had 30ish rounds through it quickly while volunteering at the RFMA Cadex Match at 100m and then at 300m in the wind. With just a random ammo I grabbed out of my locker before I left home (Eley Sport) it was holding 1.5 inch or so at 100m. Now that it is finished I will be spending some time to see what it really likes. The action is buttery smooth, wicked fast (to a standard bolt that is and not my standard semi play style) and so unique I will likely not see many of them in my travels.

Build List:
Volquartsen Summit Stainless Action 22lr
International Barrels Inc. 20" Stainless Fluted 10/22 barrel
Kidd 2 Stage Trigger
Oryx Chassis
MDT vertical premier grip & mlok rail
B&T Atlas Bipod
American Defense Manufacturing Recon 20moa mount
Vortex Optics Viper PST 5-25 Gen 2
MK Machining Scope Throw Lever and Rail mounted Level
BlackBox Custom cerakote

Great Job!! this is something different, I like the IBI barrel look and cerakote job. I think it would be really interesting to see what kind of accuracy you will get out of this really nice build. No doubt you will be well serve by your new toy.

Nice build. Very curious how accuracy it is. You need try as many quality brands ammo as possible to see what its favor
That is the plan. The info I got from the fine folks at IBI is that the barrel chamber prefers SK ammo, but I have several higher end ELEY offerings on hand as well as some of the "usual suspects".

Thank you! It is indeed something different, which is exactly what I wanted and I fell in love with that summit action when I saw the PWS summit on youtube. Then when I heard Volquartsen took over the patent and tweaked it I was sold. :D I do plan to keep it until either I can no longer shoot it, or when they come for it.

That is a sweet looking rig.......if it shoots as good as it looks you will have a winner!
How much invested as it sits in the picture?
Love your vision on a very unique rifle!

Did my wife send you!?

Well, not everything was got just for this project (trigger, scope, mount, rail, bipod) and have had them for a few years prior.
I won the barrel in a photo contest and the action in stainless was shy of a grand after the government got their share and the chassis to my door and to the paint was about thr same.

Well Ive built a fair number of rimfire rifles in the past couple of years and now Im dissappointed in myself. I hope your happy that Ill now have to spend another big pile of money, HAHA. Always looking for an excuse and Ive found another. KUDOS youve built one of the most awesome looking ones in my opinion. Great design man. Cheers Chris

Very slick-looking rifle. Well done! Hope she's a shooter for you OP, can't see how it won't be! :)

It should be, its been touched by a lot of pro shooters and high end craftsmen along its journey, and I'm sure some of their mojo has rubbed off on it! :D

Yes, I am very happy someone else has to spend a pile of money on another rig, that will in turn give me another reason to build another. lol

Found what I was asking about. I should have read the earlier post you put up. Nice build bud.

Hey sorry for missing your comment. Yes, it was Wanstalls, they took good care of me and my order. Just that stupid thing... um... covid, I think they call it? Yeah that... it got in the way of the order and delayed the order by a year.
