A quick video of the shop dripper my Dad and I built a few years ago. Took a bit of fiddling to get it right. Once it starts pumping out shot it'll run as long as you can feed it lead. Sorry about the video quality.

My nephew made a cobbled together shot maker. He took an old electric frying pan as the melter and added the nozzles he bought off of ebay to it. He found the electric element couldn't keep up with the heat needed and now heats it with a propane burner underneath. He also found he needed to heat the short little ramp into the coolant a bit to try and keep the shot round. He gave me a 25 lb bag the last year and I am going to need another one here real quick. It is not perfect but for clay practice and shooting rabbits etc it works just fine. I reload 16 gauge and 20 gauge so it is worth it, 12 gauge I just buy when it is on sale.

As you running a propane heater under yours?

I recall reading somewhere that the closer you keep the liquid level to the dribbling lip the rounder the shot comes out. Looks like you could raise the level a bit to try it.
