Just thought I'd throw it out there... paid $10.00 at Canadian Tire for the 2 strips of LED's. Didn't want to bother buying press specfic LED's. I had an old 12V 4amp transformer laying around ( amoung many ) from an old laptop, as well as an a connector I got from Sayal so that I could plug the lights into the wall as opposed to using a battery. Works great but I still have to install an inline switch so I can just leave it plugged in instead of unplugging it all the time.

Nice. I found a small clip-on LED at a dollar store for my Dillon SDB. It works well enough but the battery is a really weird size and is hard wired in so it is basically a disposable unit. I'll run it to failure and then look for something like you have. Not cheap... just frugal. :)

I did the same thing a few years ago, I just hot glued them in place because I wasn't sure if they were in the right position or not on my Dillon 550. I also just used a wall wart for my power source and I haven't moved them or adjusted anything since they were installed. Nice cheap and easy solution.

I bought a cheap inspection camera and use a old laptop. So I got light as well a camera to inspect the case without leaning forward too much, to check for double loads.

The next step is to add image recognition to identify high and low charges :)

I just use $5 USB light from Ikea - JANSJÖ is the model name

Its all about the ergonomics.. Leaning forward every time, is very hard on you. Ask anyone that works in an office.

Can't find the link to the CT lights but attaching an image of the package for anyone that's interested..

That looks outstanding! I'd say that you are very much taking the right approach.

When I bought my Forster press years ago, I immediately chose to do upgrades with an InLine Fabrication Ultramount and and their Roller Lever. I thought that since I was ordering from them directly .... " I may as well order their LED strip for the Forster too."

The Ultramount and Roller Lever were worth every dollar that it cost me, but in hindsight, if I would have just looked around the local stores (or Amazon) I probably could have ended up with something wayyyy better than the $45 CAD or so that I paid for the LED strip!!

Light on a press really makes a difference.

mine is an led module that the local surplus store sells for 3.99 hooked up to a 12v wall wart that i had laying around.

Good idea. I need one to see the notch on my seating depth dial. As it sits I keep a small flashlight in my bench just for that.
