hi guys,

i was wondering who carries the "D" spring and metal guide rods for the Beretta pistols?
i own a 92G-SD, and want to get rid of the flimsy looking plastic guide rod.

any one care to explain what a "D spring" is? what exactly does it do?

thanks,

The "D" spring is the mainspring from the DAO model, and is lighter than the standard TDA spring. It is like an instant trigger job when one is installed in a 92FS/96 model.
You can get a "D" spring and steel guide rod (and other goodies) from Dave Olhasso, who is a member on this board.

I was considering setting up shop as a Canadian parts guy for Beretta, but Dave is so easy to deal with (and he's easy, or so I hear ;)). So instead all I do now is trigger jobs and repairs etc. you can also PM Dave, his username here is Dolhasso

The BEST place to get all you Beretta need is Wolff's spring manufacturer. I bought a 13.lbs factory recoil spring from them as well as a metal guide rod for the Beretta 92/96 series.

I must say, it kicks arss. You can get it in black or stainless, and is top quaility. When I ordered it, it was at my house in a week!!!

Wolffs all the way!

I know this is an old thread but this was good to read. I was wondering where a D Spring & metal Guide Rod could be had. I've emailed Dave.
