I am trying to make the switch into long range shooting. Before i spend a bunch of money on a scope and range finder, going to try out the sig sauer bdx system. No where in canada has them instock. Just wondering if anyone know american company that would ship a rifle scope across the boarder? has anyone ever used the system?

Duh

I just googled sig sauer bdx and found this - 1st item ! Why does everyone have trouble searching instead of begging for answers? And I didn't even include 'Canada' in the search !!

What's long range to you?

That bdx system wouldn't be my choice to enter long range shooting.

And as said, there are permits required to import a scope from the US

This^

Although the Sig BDX LRFs are great (I've had a Kilo 2400BDX and have the Kilo 3000BDX) especially when paired up with a Kestrel, pairing one of the LRFs with one of the BDX scopes is really at best a setup for mid-range hunting (mostly for people not comfortable with dialling/holding additional elevation), not long range target shooting.

I agree, I have the LRF from SIG and although it is BDX compatible I was not impressed with their scope options for the price. Their LRF's are pretty good value and would not hesitate to buy another one. I have the KILO 2200BDX that i acquired in the US as a Cabela's/Bass Pro special. It is all that i need at this point in my shooting.

I to have a sign kilo 2400 abs along with a kestrel using 2 might force scopes on 2 -338 edges as well I just got the new Swarovski DS scope and now don't need either the 2400abs or kestrel with I use my 3rd -338 edge. Side note if someone informs me how to up load pics would love to post some long range shooting is a blast!
