The 2021 ZhuHai Airshow will be opening this Tuesday and there will be a public display of firearms, including the brand new QBZ 191 family.

This new design seems to be very ergonomic and much more reliable per say compared to the new Russian AKs.

Take a look for yourself. Really hope some importer can bring in a semi auto version.

Looks nice, but very hard to judge reliability of a brand new model....comparing it to other firearms reliability is completelly out of place at this point.

While it may seem premature to comment on reliability, the internal design seems to be a moderate evolution over proven designs.

The closest comparison is the AK 12. And the difference in user ergonomic is night and day.

Full pic rail on top. Large mag release catch. Ambi safety. Extendible stock. Built in iron sights. Significant improvement over the Type 95 and 03.

YES !! Bring it in soon, so the T. can Ban it too - DUH
He needs more publicity to feed the 'URBies' fears.

They'll call it an "AK VARIANT" and wont allow it to be imported. We will be lucky to own hunting rifles in 5 years, nevermind getting new semi auto rifle designs imported to canada

Right?
Oh,yeah!
I'm a member of Canadian shooters family since 1989.Before then I was growing in communistic Poland as a tinegr gun lover .
As long I can remember we was allowed to shoot only air rifles and bolt action .22's only as shooting clubs members. That was early 80'
Year 2021 CANADIAN DEMOCRACY???
Recently ,because of BAN I've lost ability to shoot more then half of my collection....
I can't even sell those in Canada.
If you think it will get better in near future...YOU'RE WRONG!
WE, CANADIAN LEGAL SHOOTERS AND COLLECTORS SOCIATY have to open our eyes and realise that since '80s we are feed with bull manure ,empty promises and lies by every dominating party in Canada.(and it's getting worse every election)
I'm begging you gun loving fellows DO SOMETHING wit this .WHERE IS OUR FREEDOM???
I'm just middle class living fellow so I can't dotting a lot of money for our course but I and every one of us ,we can raise our voices ..WE HAVE RIGTS AND WE WILL NEVER FORGET ABOUT THEM!
And believe me, I if we don't seriously kick some parliament buts ,IN SHORT FEW YEARS we will be ALLOWED BY THE LAW to buy BB guns with our restricted licenses.

Peace
Zygy

Even if it somehow slipped through, it would be restricted judging by the lenght in the pic.
Restricted means soon to be confidcated, as they know exactly who has them.

There isn't even a commercial export version. You won't see a 5.56 for at least a year or two when they try to export this to foreign military customers, and then you will see a semi auto sporting version after that.

Norinco also markets the CS/LR17 rifle family that is designed for export. It is available in 5.56, 7.62x39, and 7.62x51.

Lol more reliable than the new AKs? According to who? Are you really going to compare a completely new product / design vs. one with decades of proven combat use?
