Help identifying a shotgun please.

In my experience, the Beretta made single shot commands a significant premium over the lesser manufacturers.
That would be my thought as well.
I have a cooie that was redone and it looks half descent, but this one would look way prettier with the ribbed barrel, silver receiver with engraving.

Now I just have to figure out how to re attach the stock.

Beretta fetches more based on the Beretta brand recognition, you’re paying extra for the name but the quality of most of these guns that I’ve seen is about the same.

The Stock appears to brand new , other than a few dents.
My guess is , the gun was used very little, but somehow got rusted out.

These are basic generic Italian single shot guns, retailed with many well known ( like Beretta) and obscure brand names applied. They are better than average basic single shot guns and can be found from .410 to 10 gauge with various barrel lengths. There were even a few variants sold as basic trap singles but they were too light and not built robustly enough to be successful at this task. They make a fine inexpensive single shot for general use, usually priced realistically about like a Cooey in similar condition.
Yup, just because it SAYS a brand name like Berretta. Does not automatically mean the company made it.
Many companies outdource certain products .
I have a Berrrta muzzle loader that was made by Armi San Marco, for instance

Yes. I notice that Beretta once had a relationship with the maker of this single shot shotgun.
But that ended some time ago.
I suggest that is kind of telling. It's a fair guess the original manufacturer was not interested in quality improvements to refine thier product. Hence the divorce.

Got her all cleaned up nice and purty.
Gonna try her tomorrow.
I don’t think she seen more than a box of shells through her.
