Lee deluxe rife dies No lube req

No lube required for the collet die. If you're using the full sizer from the deluxe set or any other set for that matter you need to use lube. The collet die works great, and yes, don't use any lube with it.

Just remember that collet die only size the neck not the full length.

Exactly.
I've got them in 30/30 and 300 win mag. They work great...no lube required. However, if you're using brass that's been fired in someone elses gun/range brass, then you should do a full length size to avoid jamming in your chamber. After you've full length sized once, and fired the brass in your gun, you're good to go with the no lube, neck size only, collet dies from then on.

Is your 30/30 a lever action? I've read that collet sizing is only recommended for bolt actions, and full length is recommended for lever, pump, and semi.

My 30/30 is a lever. Winchester model 94.
I only neck size and I've never had a problem.
I don't have any semis that I reload, so I won't comment on them.
My 300 win mag is a bolt. I speak from personal experince when I say that picking up range brass, and just neck sizing is a bad idea.
I reloaded some stuff I picked up out of the bin on one trip. Drove all the way out to the range and found out that it wouldn't chamber. :bangHead::bangHead::bangHead: DUMB DUMB DUMB!!!! I managed to cram a few of them in, but eventually got to one that wedged in really well. MORE DUMMY ACTION COMMING>>> I wound up breaking the extractor off of my bolt trying to pull it out. Eventually took a cleaning rod, put the open threaded end down the barrel and had to hammer the round back out. Thank goodness I put a good crimp on it. I went to WSS and picked up a full length resizing die and went through all my brass once, and have fired all of them several times since without any problems.
