- No it does not scream "quality" with such an obvious play in cheek piece and butt plate and visible machining marks
- This is not even a contender to a modern PRS rigs. This is most basic grip, does not even hold a handle to adjustability we have for years. Adjustability of the stock is most basic, look at Cadex and MDT. This stock is on the level of Oryx $500 chassis
- Non ACIS magazines, how much are they? 200 Euro plus 8 month to ship, more?
- Hyping raised rail because you can use lower rings... due all the respect, rings are not the problem for anyone, this is pure BS styling feature, lets be honest.
- Trigger at 13oz is... well, Trigger Tech diamonds are like 4-5oz for years now
- No separate bolt head to swap calibers
- A cocked, clean, lubricated with no ammo to extract or feed action is always smooth to cycle. This is all meaningless show. Actions need to perform smoothly while cocking, extracting a stuck case and in a adverse condition. This is very mediocre push feed with a tiny ejector and small extractor. Does not even hold a candle to a modern top of the line designs.
So why would anyone take 5 grand and throw it on a rifle with a zero resale value. Moreover throw all this money to EU manufacturer with all the extra taxes, fees, and extra costs while we have MDT, Cadex, KS Arms, JC, IBI, Trigger Tech and all others right here in Canada, not to mention top US offerings.
This is a ridiculous proposition to "get into PRS" with this. But I guess you need to push it as hard as you can if you are making a promotion. And this sure looks like a promotion.
That riser.........why? Looks like a ruger sr 22.
In fact it looks like it ripped off a lot of companies.

By the time you get a barrel, action and chassis together you’re at the same money, so yes if you know know what you want, are just getting into this type of shooting or don’t want to wait for a custom to be put together I’d say this is a great option
Really? Lets see what options we have:
1)
Cadex CDX-R7 Barreled action - $2200
Deadline barreled action - $1700
Zermatt (Bighorn) Origin action $1370
American Rifle Company Nucleus $1370
IB Prefit Barrel $700
2)
Triggertech Diamond - $350
Cadex DX2 - $270
3)
KRG Bravo - $600
MDT XRS - $500
MDT ACC - $1500
So we are looking at a range of $2500 to $4000 to get it all together. Or 40% to 20% LESS than $5k for Venus T.
All the listed components have resale value separately. Over time you don't like the stock, you sell it and replace it, you don't like trigger - options are plenty, you want to try JC barrel instead of IB and so on. All you can do with Venus T is to try to sell it all together for a great loss, because while a bunch of people will snatch your MDT or Triggertech from EE, who is going to rush to buy a pre-owned obscure EXPENSIVE no name rifle with all non standard components? And when you find someone who protentionaly might want it, and he won't like the orange paintjob )
