Of the smiths who frequent the board who has a reamer?

Guntech?

If so I am interested in putting a match grade barrel on my CZ 452. It shoots great now but I just cannot stop until I have what I want.

I have a Don Stith BR stock on order. Should be here the start of the new year.

Yes I have a match grade .22 LR reamer for bolt action rifles... I have done a couple of Sako's with new barrels that worked pretty well.

Thanks Dennis.............

I will have to call Ted up after the New year and order a barrel.

I here that CZ's are tough to change the barrel but I cannot see why? They just look threaded to me. Don't see anything otherwise.

The Brno barrel shank is more complicated than most centrefire rifles. In addition to the double diameter shank, and the threading, there are the extractor cuts, the notch which engages the feed throat, and the little shoulder underneath the chamber which insures that the casehead is completely surrounded by boltface counterbore and barrel. These features must be perfectly timed. Have a close look at the breechface of the barrel. Installing a M98 Mauser barrel is much easier - and faster - in comparison.
The Brno action is also one of the few .22 actions worth rebarrelling and using in a custom rifle.

See what you are

saying.

Nothing that a skilled man like Guntech couldn't do for some money.....................;) possibly a bit more than usual............

I think the little shoulder on the bottom side which doubles as the feed ramp could be eliminated???????????????? It is going to be set up as a single shot anyway. I will be making some sort of follower to marine tex into place.
