I got this surefire light on a trade around maybe 10 years ago and I have no idea what it is now. Hoping someone can help me out:

It takes 2x CR123 batteries. The tail cap functions like a DS-00 in that it has the plug for a tape switch and has the button, but it does not look like a DS-00.
As you can see in the picture, the light itself says P60L - WH
There are no markings on the light body.

Couldn't tell you why the head switch as the P60L bulb would have also fit in the original head. If the light is new in box, to the right collector they maybe worth that. Seems a little steep to me but to each their own. There are way better lights now for way less but collectors will pay an absurd amount for nostalgia.

Everyone wants the new LED lights because of the higher output. That light probably puts out 60 lumens, which is nothing by today’s standards. I have a bunch of nib old lights sitting in the basement.

Could also be but together with parts. 6P body, G2 head with XM00 tail cap.

Never understood how adding a pressure tail cap and barrel clamp made the price hundreds more for the Weapons Light.

Replace the bulb with a Cree LED and you’ll have a perfectly functional light. As mentioned it won’t be as bright as newer lights.

With the G2 bezel you can slap in any of the LED bulbs in to it. Big plus. Unless you're wanting to use an IR filter, then it won't work.

Thank you guys so much for the info. Its really helpful.

I looked around a bit more and I think it might be this thing, a surefire 660L with the head changed.

Because mine originally came with the barrel clamp too. Just spent the past hour trying to find the clamp with no luck... too bad.

Not feeling attached to it, so I will sell it. Thanks again all, now at least I know what I'm selling lol

And the fact that led emitters are about a billion times more long living and more reliable than a filament bulb
