It looked fishy from the beginning and now starts to smell it too.
They keep claiming that it does not require FRT.
Yeah ok, maybe technically

Already stuck with a former Non-restricted Troy 102, Now Prohib. No way would I get struck with another, when the RCMP can Prohib any gun they feel like.
This looks great. I don’t understand how these FRT rules work though. How is this rifle any different from a Maccabee or ATRS modern rifle?
I believe this looks like it uses all standard AR-15/10 style parts, however it only looks that way and most standard parts are not actually compatible with the receiver set. This was done intentionally to prevent it from falling victim to the trappings of being a “variant”.
I could be totally wrong, but I think I read this information somewhere.
Got pictures?
Yeah brownbear53 seems to be of a different opinion and I'm just wondering if they can back up their claim.

Correct,
That was his initial strategy of marketing, in hopes of getting ATRS/SLR like attention but that failed miserable as not a lot of people read that anymore.
Im not sure if he is still advertising as such.
Since my last post, I have also found this with some quick google searches.

There's been another reddit thread regarding another poor transaction experience here. https://www.reddit.com/r/canadaguns/comments/quwu16/defense_ballistics_stephen_alder_and_the_rsq2/
I've also been following this rifle for quite a while now. I got the same experience as you and the 2 reddit users (fork over $###X for a deposit, last chance before it goes to Reliable and the "others" (whilst calling them clowns), etc.) and decided to take my money elsewhere, after contacting Reliable and being told they weren't aware of the existence of the rifle. That's interesting though, I was told the operations were in Chilliwack and I think they started getting clammy over the phone when I said I can always drop by and pick it up and only asked for a much smaller deposit than others have cited ($1000).

Are there any of these rifles in the wild or they still pre-order stage?
