I ordered a SIG Stainless 226 ELITE 9mm last july:) Santa just left me an early present and I went ahead and opened it a couple days early:evil:

Just got it home, wont get to the range for a while but just thought Id post these for your viewing pleasure:jerkit::jerkit:

I own only one Sig. I don't know how much longer I can survive with only one. They are such good shooters.

If either of my two oil stocks hit in the North Sea or Africa, I'll buy myself a P220.

My only regreat is not being able to get the 229 Elite in stainless. My 226ST is rock solid, as much as I like my 229, you feel the need to baby it a bit more. Mind you at close to $2,000 at my door, I had better be dammed careful with it!!
 
It took you 6 months to get it? Crazy. I wouldn't want to have that kind of time to wait, regardless of how good anything is.

Ya, I ordered it sumtime in july and just got it! When I ordered it they told me there was none available till the next run.

I noticed the sticker on the side of the case was dated July 31. So I dont no if that was the manufactureing date and it took another 5 months to get to me or not. I do no that it arrived in Canada on Dec 7th.

There were other 226 variations that I could of had much sooner, but this was the one I wanted, and decided to wait!

Sounds like the distributor hauls them up there twice a year weather he needs to or not. :(

a 226 Stainless Elite will be my next gun.... don't like the sound of the 6 month wait tho.... guess I'll have to order it now ;)
 
Wow Third P226? You don't like P220 or P229 models?

IMO SIGs look better with out the beavertail... same with M&P's in fact mine no longer has one ;)

Ive got a couple P220s as well as a few other SIGs...no 229s though.

The jurys still out on the beavertail, havent decided if its realy all that useful yet.
 
Very nice!!! the P220 Elite Stainless is on my short list. I'm going to import it through Buffalo Gun Center and not wait... I asked the dealers here and nobody sounded like they could get it for me?!
