Any number of old 30-06 pumps can be bought for less than $500, and then rebored and chambered for 9.3X62 for another less than $500.
No shortage at all for $1000 9.3X62 pump guns.

They've had them on there for several years. I bought one, and they're certainly good enough for hunting rifles.

Ooohh... I thought you meant a 7600 barrel. I definitely would have bought one for a 7600
I'm back in.... just picked up a older 7600 30-06 in mint condition, deep blue and high gloss wood. I never thought I would see the day that a nice 7600 would be hard to find. I'd be curious to see when RemArms us going to start production on the 7600s.
Now you have to find a 7600 carbine in 30-06
I finally found one in the EE after quite a few years of searching.It’s a beauty.
I finally brought my old 760 (308) home. Was my very first centerfire rifle, took alot of game in my teenage years before I went to university.
Had to pull the old 4x Tasco off, wouldn't hold zero, upgraded to a 3-9 Bushnell 3500. She's seen alot of use, certainly not mint, but after cleaning a ton of copper out of her it consistently stacked 150gr federal into 1.5" at 100m. Will have to work up a few loads to see what the old girl can do, but it's nice to have her home!
