Marstar, would you consider bringing in Norinco 97 bullpups?

Would you buy this bullpup from Marstar?

Deckard, this photo cracks me up. A bayonet does not make much sense in this application.

I would be interested in either the restricted or non-restricted version. Let me know! If I'm willing to pay for a Tavor........I'd have to buy one of those too.

which calibre are you looking at ......I was considering one of them as well after talking to him so I could brag here like last xmas with the 97 :D but the price.....:runaway: well we will see
I am in a great dilema about what rifle should I buy.
We tested both rifles a couple of days ago. I am a 5.56 guy, so definetely I will take that one. But I saw lector's shooting with the 308 version and now I have to have both of them:p
From the very beginning Lector is advising me not to buy b/c they don’t fit me but they are so cool for non restricted rifles. I would go for both of them if Dr Lector will sell them to me, but I’m sure my girlfriend will be pissed if I dig so deep in our account she will want to move out:runaway:

I want to change the scope either if I can get one, until now I only saw one pic which changed and it looks a little bit weird....too high maybe

Wait for your post & photos lucky man
97 scope does not fit any of the 88s. The two types of 88s can interchange scopes but the one in 308 calibre has higher magnification.
As a condition of the sale Lector told me I can't post any pics. sorry:(
About puting another scope, it is easier on 88 than on 97 because of the mounting system.
waiting for your range report!
I am actualy writing a range report and I hope to post it soon.

Those two sentences don't work together! Don't know why he would say you can't post pictures of your gun... your gun? your gun?

A range report without pictures of the gun is just... words. Might as well skip it.

You would get a lot of these:

Sorry if someone already mentioned this but what if we approch Lever with a bulk purchase and see what kind of price we can get. I want one but don't want to pay $1500 for one.

Good price
Full warranty

Accessories - like the Chinese rail to picatinny adaptor.

This is what I expect from whatever dealer can pull it off.

.308 sniper interests me...
Lector a no pix rule is a tad cheesy. You Spec Ops now? :D

Almost there.......:p

So lucky I am still single:p

I am so surprise about 308 version type 88! I only know 88 have 5.56 and 5.8 until toady.

I think you r right. And I don't even know what is expected from a range report on CGN anyway, so I will skip it.

come on, man, I think ElmerFudd didnt real means that. We just too expect this gun. We saw a lot of pics, a range report without pictures is better than no report, right?;)~~~ waiting for your ranger report:50cal:

24 pages....geezus

I dont get it...are these things in country or not?

I almost bought one TODAY in Edmonton....the medium length with small scope...

Why are people asking for them if they are already here?......or should I read ALL 24 PAGES???

OK, just because I am a nice guy I will save you the trouble. Although I think it was answered in the first post.

People want Marstar specifically to bring them in instead of buying from Lever Arms so: 1) they would be a more reasonable price ie. compare M14S prices at the two and 2) they would have a warranty ie. compare Marstar's one year to Lever Arms' zero warranty.

Then we talked about other models that are not currently available here such as "sniper" version, etc.

You're welcome. :p
