Took the SKS to the range today for the second time... (took 300 rounds this time, wasn't in a hurry.. LOL)
After the issues I had with FTF's last time, you guys gave me some good advice, and you were RIGHT on the money. Not a sigle FTF today. There was simply to much packing grease in that block to allow the firing pin to move forward enough, and, with the cold temps, the problem was compounded. So, thanks guys.. She did pretty decent at 100 yards, everything inside the 10 ring, which wasn't bad considering the cold and the snow and the fact that I had no rum in my bloodstream which usually steadies things out and such...
