I was surprised at how easy it was....Certainly worth the time I put in.
Now to my range report. Have to say the rifle was comfortable to fire and easy to get the hang of. While I did have some issues with mags getting caught up in my jacket when trying to eject them, I figure this would be a problem with any bullpup design. I found the trigger to be surprisingly decent, after reading reviews and a lot of people complaining about the trigger I was expecting the worst but it was certainly serviceable. I'd even say it was better than the triggers on most of the guns I own. Overall it was very comfortable and easy to shoot, recoil was minimal, and it seemed stable on firing making getting back on target a breeze. Definitely glad I went this route and I'm looking forward to putting it thru its paces again once I track down some more ammo. On that note what's the best deal on 5.56 going at the moment?
I recently picked up Winchester 5.56 55gr from FOC as well as G4C (via price match of FOC) for $11.95 + tax for a box of 20. It went out of stock recently but there was more again a few days ago and I bought more. That was during the Black Friday sale. I think FOC's price is normally $13.95 for Winchester white box. It is $16-$17 at most retailers.
Otherwise, your Federal AE/PMC 5.56 55gr and 62gr run $15-$17+tax a box depending on where you go.
There are other 5.56 rounds like Hornady Frontier and stuff but those are running $20 and up and most places have been sold out of it for months.
