who little to tell me the diffence enters the Italian fabriquation or the USA..Y has to you it a difference in quality and the price on the market..

thank you sol:popCorn:

I have owned numerous examples of both the Italian and US made guns, and could find no real difference in overall quality among them. Some people seem to prefer the Italian made guns and will even pay a slight premium in price (I wouldn't though.)

The ones made nowadays are all pretty much the same.

Now back in the early 90's, the US made ones had a rougher, powdery finish whereas the Italian ones had a richer satin black finish. The 92 FS also had a straight dust cover back then which looks a lot better than the slanted ones now.

I really don't mind the slanted dostcover I think I may actually like the look of it better...

not sure if there's a difference in quality (mine is US made), but Italian made model might cost a few $ more, or maybe not... but they are not as common (esp. new) as the US made 92's...

Italians ones are made on metric tooling, USA ones on Imperial. so there is some fit and finish differences. as mentioned the rougher finish of the early American ones. But now a days? no difference. Although some claim to be able to feel a difference in the trigger. but these are the same people who say they can tell the difference between beers from one company or another.
