So I had a pretty cool colt new service passed to me in a will and was wondering a Canadian price point for it as Iam not really a revolver guy and intend on selling to purchase something I will use. The revolver is a flattop target model with 7.5 inch barrel in original .455 eley with Metford style rifeling gun has absolutely mint fleur de lis grips a very nice deep blue finish. From my research gun dates to 1905 and is possibly a bisley from what I e read there were only about 3200 target model produced. Gun is an overall 7.5 out of 10 condition and all original and proper pieces intact down to correct lanyard ring. So curious what to list for a Canadian sale or be better to sell in the states as these are commanding a premium south of the border. Any advice appreciated. And sorry can’t post pics I have tried numerous times

Is this the one you've listed as sold on the EE a couple times?

British cartridge NS targets do not have the windgauge adjustment screw in the frame. I have seen a few butchered into .45Colt and .44 Special.

There have been several first model frame (circa 1901 to 1909) NS targets for sale at Dixie Gun Works ranging from about $1100 US to $1900 US depending on condition.

There is currently one there for $2150 US (pretty mediocre condition, but D^D marked) which has been for sale there for more than 7 years by my count.

I bought my 6" .45 Colt NS target (the rarest variation) on Gunbroker about 5 years ago for about $950 US.

Nope I did list for a while but it never sold that’s why Iam asking for pricing advice as I would like to move this

Any post pics I can pm some once Iam out of hospital and back home my health has not been the best so another reason to move this along

The Op sent me pics of his revolver. Nice NS Target, looks to be in very good condition. Have a look and maybe chime in with values for him if you can. If I had the money right now I would buy it in a heart beat. C'ect la vie. - danpic 1.jpgpic 2.jpgpic 3.jpgpic 4.jpgpic 5.jpg
