But they can get you for having a loaded firearm in a vechicle, so couldn't you be charged with that? A conservation officer told me that he charged a guy for having a loaded shotgun on the hood of his pickup truck after a goose hunt.....

I could see why though, he was hunting with it previously.

When i talked with a CO i specifically mentionned it was for target shooting. They we're aware of where i was and what i was doing.
 
we do alot of long range shooting out towards Timmins and Shinning tree on old logging clear cuts out to 1500meters!!

what are the rules for shooting over frozen lakes?
 
I 'm going to the welding shop soon and i'll get a bunch of steel targets made.
It's pretty cheap he'll just take his scraps. I'll get some rebar and some old conveyer belts, so the steel can swing when i hit it. I just had this ipsc popper, i need to return it to the club before i get in ####, lol.

Here in england am quite fortunate to go out to 800yds with me 6.5-284 on my permissions and 1000yds on my buddies!!!!
Always good fun testing at range in challenging conditions...

Man, thats what i'm talking about, great picture.

I love seeing precision rifles in the field. So much cooler than pics of a rifle in some guys living room.
