What's my Haer K98k worth

I have a Norwegian Mauser-made (code 42) K98k conversion to .30-06 from 1940 which is in a laminated stock and all-matching (and I mean EVERYTHING) including the stock naturally. The bore is in very good shape and shiny. Bluing is decent though not pristine. Stock is very good shape with the odd ding here and there and one small armory-repaired crack at the tang. What's it worth?

Probably in or around the $2k range. Prices are always subjective, but with RCs routinely selling in the $1000-$1500 range, I think a Norwegian refurb should be worth more given that there’s more ‘original’ parts on them. Others may disagree though. I’m sure you’ll get mixed responses.

They are nice but remember they are a postwar rework.
They were bastardized on the receiver where they milled out the half cylinder shape to clear the extra length of the 30-06 cartridge. They lengthened the trigger guard assembly for the cartridges and the stock where it sits in. They stamped an unsightly HAER on it .
It is what it is. It’s maybe the nicest rework. But an Undicked With All Matching Original is the Cats Azz!

Yeah, this is nothing like a Russian Capture. This rifle is dated 1940, probably came in with the invasion and spent the duration in Norway.
