Cheapest price I found was 240 on amazon. I ended up grabbing mine locally for 280. Made the concise decision to support Tillsonburg gun shop. Canadian prices are horrid across the board not just optics. Vortex Crossfire Red Dot is a good alternative @ 199.

Scopes are subject to US "International Traffic in Arms" regulations (ITARS). I don't know exactly how it works but basically there are costs associated with exporting "arms" from the US and we see this in the prices, on top of what you'd expect just from the currency conversion. With shipping and export fees, you're usually going to pay about the same as you'd pay here, all in. But quite often it's hard to find things up here, so companies like I Run Guns are very helpful.
First, the US vendor has to be licenced for export or has to ship to an exporter, not sure if scopes require an FFL dealer who exports, they have to get a permit from State.. You have to supply a Cdn Import certificate. It isn'rt a difficult process, but isn't worth it for lower priced stuff, a lot of US stuff winds up at near double by the time it is landed here. I brought in a Tract earlier in the year, he supplied links to Cdn documents and showed what is invoplved on his end. 1200.00 scope was just shy of 1900.00 landed, took 7-8 wks to get it.
