The thread on milsurps prices got me thinking about my Mosin. I think it was the first gun I bought from here, it was $125 shipped and came with an extra stock, may e around 2010 or so. I think she's pretty minty as far as Mosins go, barrel is stamped 1930, tang is 1919. Just figured I'd share a few pics, share yours too if ya want 20211214_194520.jpg20211214_194252.jpg

Quite interesting "hybrid" Mosin. The two Tula hammers on the hex receiver and 1919 on the tang indicates that the receiver was produced in 1919 in Tula. In contrast, the barrel shank shows the Izhevsk arrow. So the barrel was produced in 1930 in the Izhevsk Arsenal. A square stamped on the barrel indicates that the rifle was refurbished in the Arsenal no.7 in Riga. The rifle seems to be in a very good condition externally including stock. The latter looks period correct but hard to say without more pics.
How is the bore? Rifling etc.?
