IWI Tavor X95 XB18 Semi Auto Rifle 5.56 NATO 18.5-Inch Barrel in Canada NR 1999.99USD

I ordered one of these based upon the aforementioned bayonet lug and pictured bayonet lug shown above.
No such bayonet lug exists on the rifle.
What a disappointment. I would have ordered elsewhere had I known the bayonet lug was not actually included. And it would have actually been cheaper and included more accessories had I ordered elsewhere also.

That sucks. I hate it when vendors don't post proper product photos, or at least answer/correct people's comments about the product they're selling. A few people commented on the bayonet lug here and yet IRG didn't chime in to correct them.

I would've been pissed too if I bought it based on the incorrect photo.

That is quite bizarre, I have never seen 18" us model with the bayonet lug absent. Out of curiosity, what do the markings on the shell say?

Hi Jeffhere,
our pictures are based on the UPC that the manufacture provides, it would seem at one point the manufacture( over 1 year ago) did sell these with the bayonet and kept the same picture linked to this UPC code, we are looking into seeing if there is an option to order just the bayonet lug. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you. Irunguns does find it odd that if this was the make or break for the sale that you would have mentioned this on the phone the two times in which you called in to check on your order.....

Yeah, my bad. I assumed based upon the commentary and images supplied in this thread that the bayonet lug would be provided, and if not, that irunguns would have corrected this misinformation which was posted about numerous times.
The two times I called irunguns occurred after I had already placed my order. So, even if you had informed me at that point that it didn't have the bayonet lug, I would still have been out 25% of my $2600 as a restocking fee as per your cancellation policy.
I do appreciate you looking into whether the bayonet lug can be ordered.

Sounds like a BS excuse. The pictures should reflect the product your are selling, or the picture should say that the final product does not match the pictured item.

If I got a US marked x95 I would really want that bayonet lug too. The plus side is, that original x95 cardboard box is worth more then the crappy NCstar case lol

I agree

I like Irunguns and what they do and have purchased from them

But this is wrong and they owe that customer

I almost considered ordering one of these and the deciding factor was the bayonet lug

Lmao should I call and confirm that it comes with a barrel as well? I mean that is a deciding factor for me too

What about colour?

Why would the version made in the US have a bayonet lug? One would argue that it's even less military-ish than the ones coming from Israel.

Don’t think anyones arguing about military-ish. All the iwi US x95 up until now had bayonet lugs, and it became a draw and selling point to those people that think it’s neat. Just like some people insist on IWI Israel marking because thats what they want, or how a single letter on Sks could greatly increase it value. This is why it’s important to make sure your ads do match your product.

I'm pretty sure that is not the case. I've never seen an x95 with one.

So you never seen one, so? I have 1 with the bayonet lug and every US x95 I’ve seen has it. Did you read what IRG said regarding the change?

End of the day I think the ppl IRG are awesome, and appreciate them bringing in them some really cool stuff. Love the KM 17 308 they brought in.

The images used on the website are provided by the manufacturer and distribution. It is not an excuse but a constant struggle as manufactures reserve the right to update and make changes without notice.

A good example is HK, they will use the same UPC codes for different firearm's, that said

According to IWI, the bayonet lug was available on the rifles prior to the pandemic but given the current market conditions and or stress on on the availability of core materials it is no longer available.

As for the NR rifle which was commented on earlier it is very much alive but unfortunately there are a number of other companies involved in the production and design.

Given recent events, those other companies like ourselves are overwhelmed with supply issues and other projects that are also behind.

We are all trying as best as we can.

If it makes you feel any better, I can’t think of a more useless firearm to put a bayonet on. Its not at all balanced unless its tight to your shoulder. If you thrust out it would feel pretty floppy, plus if the bayonet extends past the barrel you lose some of the advantages of a compact rifle. Sucks you didn’t get what you wanted though..
