IWI Tavor X95 XB18 Semi Auto Rifle 5.56 NATO 18.5-Inch Barrel in Canada NR 1999.99USD

If it makes you feel any better, I can’t think of a more useless firearm to put a bayonet on. Its not at all balanced unless its tight to your shoulder. If you thrust out it would feel pretty floppy, plus if the bayonet extends past the barrel you lose some of the advantages of a compact rifle. Sucks you didn’t get what you wanted though..

The x95 is a lot better balanced than an AR in my experience. Slightly heavier on the back which makes it very easy to aim with one arm versus a non shorty AR is fairly nose heavy causing it to dip down in the front. If anything adding a bayonet to an x95 would make it perfectly balanced..

Definitely not nose heavy like an AR, your right there, but for thrusting? I suppose it would be quicker than grabbing a knife off your belt, just nothing like a long rifle you can utilize as a spear with its reach. Anyways just a thought in case you hadn’t handled one very often. ;)

I definitely agree with this. When my rifle is shouldered the muzzle of the x95 is closer to me then when I have my 1911 pushed out.

I would literally be better off carrying a large tactical knife then having a rifle mounted bayonet.

Quite frankly bayonets have been dead since the Second World War and trench warfare went by the wayside... and they definitely have zero place on any Bullpup LOL. I can remember a few years back seen a Glock bayonet and honestly that's more practical LOL.

Not saying it doesn't suck that Jeff didn't get what he wanted or expected from the photos... just because I feel they have no place doesn't mean I'm opposed to other people coming up with their own wacky creations. I'm just very surprised it was ever a thing, honestly.

Last I checked all bayonet's extended past the barrel of whatever firearm they were mounted to lol

Custom bayonet sword fixes the length issue. Boom!

My thought exactly!

and bahaha richmyster, lets go into business and forge the greatest sword length bayonets the bullpup world has ever seen. 24-32 inch blades, they will sell like hotcakes ;)

IWI has not put the bayonet lug on that rifle in over a year. Unfortunately, all manufacturers reserve the right to make changes without notice. From polymer or steel magazines, to sights, furniture options, colors and even calibers. All pictures on our sites are file pics provided by the Manufacturer and or distribution.

We do not take take back firearms, optics, or ammunition due to the liability. If there is a warranty issue IRUNGUNS will be there for you.

We try to ensure accuracy buy unfortunately something as small as that is easily missed. If IWI makes that bayonet lug available for the Tavor X95 please let us know and we will see what we can can do at that time.

Merry Christmas

The IRUNGUNS Team

I suppose that's a no then?
May I return this gun due to false advertising please? I'd prefer not to file a "not as described" claim.
Thanks

Is it not iRunGun's responsibility to ensure their advertising is accurate?
I should be able to rely on the product information supplied by a retailer. It is certainly not my responsibility as a consumer to confirm with the manufacturer that the information you are supplying is accurate.
If irunguns is not going to take any action to resolve this issue which was caused due to their negligence, I will be contacting my credit card company to file a claim.
Merry Christmas indeed.

I'm with you on this one, they should have some standards to what they are selling. It's on them to make sure their information is correct when the entire business is selling to consumers based on online pictures. No way around it that is false advertising. Companies need to be held to some degree of standards. Sorry that happens to you. You would think spending that kind of money the customer service would be there for you. But I guess not. Hope you get it figured out.

The lug is maybe a $100 dollar part that currently not included because of supply issues. Not having the lug doesn't change the function of the rifle. IRG should have included a disclaimer actual rifle may differ from picture slightly. In due time I'm sure you'll find the lug being sold. Contacting your credit card company is a waste of time and will not get you any closer to having a lug.

Think S&J Hardware would produce a Canadian made tavor bayonet lug?
