he had fmj ammo I watched the testimony with kyle on the stand... also the illegal gun charge was dropped ... do you know why??? it only relates to short barreled rifles and handguns in that state...

Unfortunately I don’t think you understand, those people had “protests” all summer with the entire country watching. And no one stopped them. It’s still known because of the fake media that they were “mostly peaceful “ protests. People lost livelihood, jobs, homes and lives. All for nothing because the media dosnt report anything fairly. At the time Kyle did what he did. He did so knowing the cops wouldn’t protect anyone, stop anyone or hold anyone accountable. If every person in their community stood up to these rioters like Kyle did, then a lot of grief would have been saved.
Alot of grief... for every self entitled narrow minded dimwitted a$#hole at the riots there is hundreds of people who stayed home and did nothing! If 10% of those stood up like kyle not a single window would have ben shattered, not a single car burned, not a single girl rapped and not a single non rioters life lost! We are so condition to rely on our believe system and cops to protect us that we have no capacity to come together for our own protection. I am probably no better....

In Canada we would go to jail for what he did, we have been well trained. I guess we are just better farmed animals. I feel bad for the parents of those who were killed. I'm sure there are some good parents who's hearts are broken. However, when you hit a guy in the head with a skate board while he's holding an AR15 wtf are you thinking? Would have been funny if Kyle could have landed a couple of 5.56 in "jump kick man" mid flight.
Atleast we know whose side you'll be on when civil unrest comes to Canada.

Common sense in Canada is much different than in the US. This is why arguing that Rittenhouse is a hero will be supported by fewer up her.
If you're comfortable as a "center-left" canadian defending a pedophile that Kyle rightfully killed then that's your own concept of what "common sense" in canada might be. Most people outside your liberal bubble would rightfully ostracize you for being a boy-rapist advocate.

I don’t care if the people Kyle defended himself from were “heroes”. He defended himself in a textbook style that Massad Ayoob himself would use as a training video.
He was being pursued (chased) by multiple individuals. When a threat presented itself he fired upon the threat to STOP the individual then turned and ran. Next person assaults him with a skateboard fires from the ground on his back while another individual pulls a Glock on him. He beats him to the draw and when that person turns to leave he stops firing as he has STOPPED that incident.
Then another guy runs up and he points firearm at him and guy puts his hands up. He does not shoot. He gets up and runs towards police.
For a 17 year old with no training in self defence he did a textbook job. From what I’m reading on here , I don’t think some of you guys know what self defence is. Massad Ayoobs book in the gravest extreme is a good start although it’s based on American laws but the general idea of Self Defence is pretty clear.
If you are a gun owner and are even thinking of using your firearm for self defence I suggest you do some research, because clearly I see a huge lack of understanding here.
Once you understand the concept only then will you begin to grasp why Kyle Rittenhouse acted in self defence.

The optimist in me believes that they (including the fellow above) have all come to the realization that they’re ignorant when it comes to the trial details. Most have gracefully bowed out of the conversation (now in it’s 4th resurrection). It is only internet bravado that keeps the fellow above from admitting his error, but I trust that in its 5th resurrection, he too will scamper off.
