Looks like a nice blended thread protector. You won't even remember it's threaded.
The fluted bolt might have woke my Fudd tendency a bit..........just a bit.

So , now that the SBL 1895 is a reality by Ruglin, we shall see. Personally , I’m holding out for an 1895 with a 22” barrel in stainless. Will be a fun target rig, scoped, too!

Quick currency conversion puts that at around $1812.05 (@ $1.2943 Exchange) Canadian as of this post. We'll see if the current EE prices rise or fall once some of these Ruglins get out and utilized.

I can’t remember for sure but the SBL was always around $1200 to $1300 new since Remington took over.
Yes this is quite the price jump though.

$1399 us is pricey buy still cheaper that what guys are asking for remlin SBL's currently, I see some listed as high as $2500! not sure if anyone is foolish enough to pay that though
