Ruger Ships First Marlin Rifles Today

I don't mind the stainless barrel, and the larger loop. But I would have preferred the set-up with a 24 inch barrel and shorter ammo tube magazine. Marlin made this set-up before and it would be great if they bring it back again.

I’ve got a major jones for that 1895 Classic, too. I’m hoping Ruger cranks them out as well. Always dreamed to have that 22” or 24” barrel cut down ahead of the mag tube and create my own little “Trapper” version. LOL

Here’s hoping!!

Cheers;

They will make and ship from the highest selling items on the old Marlin books. Can't blame them: while they paid pennies on the dollar for the brand and clapped out tooling; moving, retooling, training new workers, marketing, etc is many times more. For as long as Brandon is president, anything vaguely gun shaped will fly off the shelves. There is no incentive to bring out fringe versions, odd ball calibers, or historically niche skews. Not until they are sitting on a inventory, then look for them to challenge, Chiappa, Henry, Rossi, etc in segments like PC, or rimfire.
