Not available from any retailer in Canada and only a couple of stocking dealers in the US. Best plan is to order direct from AMG. The last I heard, the wait time was 3 months before shipment due to supply chain issues.
Normal wait time, pre-Covid, was 2 months.
What timer works for you depends on the features you need. For most people, they just want to see their splits and be able to cycle back and look at different strings. If that is what you need, than the CED or Shotmaxx timer work great. We have them in stock and a variety of accessories as well.
Okay, you looked at those splits. Now what?
Unless you have a photographic memory that lasts for years, it is pretty much mindless exercise, unless you actually put all that data into your training journal... Just sayin'
A training journal is a separate entity on itself. Even a bluetooth timer is not going to automatically record what exercise you were doing, target distance, difficulty etc. Sure there are apps that are starting to help with that for standardized exercises but most people will do just fine with a good timer and a paper journal. I wouldn't say lacking bluetooth is a deal breaker.
I didn't say it is. Yet, writing down every split from your 10 year old timers will take a lot of time at the range that you could have otherwise spent for your practice... and then there are completely new ways to look at your shooting data that paper journal simply won't give you.
Generally the cost of a timer or any software is negligible comparing to the cost of ammo, gas and other recurring shooting expenses. Besides, why pay for a dated inventory when you can already have a better product for about the same money.
PS: I do get it that you have stock of those older devices that you need to sell to someone

1 Timer
2 Chrono and screens w/tripod
3 tablet
4 Generator? or very very long extension cables
5 Trailer to haul every thing?
Myself timer w/built in chrono and sky screens able to to both load development and train. Of course tripod required.
Note book is also required.
Not all ranges have connectivity or a power supply on the firing line.

Here is my complete Bluetooth-enabled kit (minus the phone that picture was taken from).
Most of the time I don't need a tripod - just put chrono at the barrel or at the bench.
The phone is also my notebook (for both timer and the chrono) and a video-recorder linked with the timer using the PractiScore Log app.
When I don't need chrono the timer fits nicely in any pocket and batteries in that thing lasts over a year.

For anyone thinking about getting an AMG labs commander direct I've been hearing they are about 5 months behind between parts and backlog.

Curious, are you also scribbling your match scores on bull's leather or right on the dirt?
The RUReady timers been designed like 30 years ago and haven't touched since. They do work, but recommending one now is somewhat ridiculous. For the price you can now get a more modern looking and functioning device with a larger screen...
Well, we are Cowboy Action Shooting Posses, living the dream of the period ending in 1898.
Our firearms, dress and attitudes reflect that so.......
As far as the rest, we just need a basic device at the line.
Our diesel generators, computers, printers etc. are all set up for our clubhouse, but I'll admit we do use paper score sheets on the line and a pencil to take down the times, before they go on the computer, in the club house.

See, you still have a computer and generators and all to come with it, which didn't exist in 1898. And it slowing your matches down.

Peddling? You making it sound as if my work is related to making, or selling timers or something.
For the most of us, shooting sports is a hobby, and if one could make their favorite sport all better, the only time for that is when you are off work.
But then again, I don't really care if your favorite timer is one of the ancient ones. I just don't take it as a good reason that device worked for some. Are you seriously suggesting that either of the timers on the marked is not exatly working? At least give some elaborate reasons if you want to recommend anything.
