Hello Everyone

Planning to do a video in on 22 ammo feeding reliability in conjunction with a SBI mag adapter was wondering what amount of ammo I should shoot for testing I was planning 100 or 200 rounds per brand or should I use more?

I plan to use ...
CCI Mini Mag 36Gr HP
CCI Mini Mag 40Gr CPRN
CCI Blazer 40 Gr LRN
Remington Thunderbolt 40 Gr LRN
Remington Golden Bullet 36(?) HP
Federal Red and Blue Box 36 Gr "HP" (I know it's basically a 36g CPRN with a divet)

Any other ammunitions I should try out in the test?

Cheers,

I found mine to be completely great! I blasted off a lot more rounds since this video.

That's fantastic news that it works well in your rifle more surprising it works will with the Remington Mags .. I've only tried CCI and Fed Bulk 36 Gr since it was all I had on hand but the CCI performed well but the Federal I recall did not perform well at all with multiple failures to eject but instead of relying on my non-existent memory I thought I'd make a video series documenting it as a go :D

I never had trouble with the 'Golden Bullet', but I wouldn't shoot the 'Thunderbolt' if it was given to me. Really dreadful leading problems in my son's 10/22.

Try some bulk Win and I think American Eagle would be interesting. As to how many rounds I’d do 300+. More brands, more guns, more shooters, this could get fun. A bit expensive as well.

Worst ammo (Thunderbolt) I've tried in my rifles the only firearm I had that it works ok in is a bolt action. As to how many 100 is a fair amount to see if any issues pop up. generally the issue will also present itself with a standard mag as well. I've used my adapter in a few different ruger products and never an issue unless it's ammo related. I've run 3 types of Aguilla, Fed auto match and blue box bulk, CCI mini mags, quiet segmented, and non segmented, the rem jamo'matics, 3 types of Eley, American Eagle of multiple weights, etc no problems except with the Remington stuff
