Hello everyone, I got this Walther PPk in a trade last year from another member and thought I would post a few pictures of it. It was made in 1941 according to the serial number, and it is "Police Eagle C" marked. It must have been bought/issued and tucked away in a desk for the duration of the war because it is in near perfect shape. There is some slight wear on the trigger and the magazine, and a small crack on the left side of the grip
Hope you enjoy the photos!

That's really awesome. I've always wanted a PP/PPK/PPKs. If only my first pistol purchase was the 4" revolver instead of the 5" auto (which I still have) I would have my 12(6) and one of these in my collection.

Is there an emoji for the sigh of an enthusiast who will never hold 12.(x)?

Beautiful piece of history. Thanks for sharing.

Does the serial number on the outside box match the gun?

While thousands of these were sold back in the days of Century Arms, rarely did the numbers on the box and pistol match.

That would make it special.

I think those were post war, 1960's ex-police models and my 2 boxes matched. I did not see any pre '46 ones come in from century enmasse.

Where are my manners! Very nice op. I have one with a duralum (sp?) Frame.

Most came in 32. Although I have a ppk in 380, its quite "snappy". The 32 is nicer to shoot.

How about a dumb$$ emoji for someone who squandered their 12(x)?

Back in the day my "FAC" renewal letter arrived and I threw it up on top of the fridge with the junk mail and forgot about it.

Then the letter arrived from the RCMP informing me that because I had let it expire I had also permanently lost my 12(x) privileges and had 30 days to sell/turn in/deactivate my collection...

No appeals...

@#$&*%

To add insult to injury I had a deposit on a mint condition PPK that I also lost :-(
