That seems to usually take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks; mine took about 4 weeks to be charged. Once your method of payment has been processed or the charge shows up on your credit card, it should be viewable online. Though it is a holiday week this week.

They requested some additional info of me for a question I missed but the fax number I was given over the phone (1-800-411-0622) doesn't work. I've tried some of the free services like HelloFax and FaxZero and both fail as it says the other line is always busy.
Anyone have one that does?

I honestly can't remember the fax number but I know for myself and others posting on this thread that an online or computer fax service does not work. Need to use an old school fax machine. I went to a UPS store and the sent it for a small fee. I know Staples offers faxing service too. Probably other stores do also.
I have great news in this case for everyone else in the thread - I didn't want to have to go out and find somewhere with a fax machine if I could help it so I called again and requested a new fax number just in case.

My application is finally showing up online today! Just went by the post office to pay to have it faxed old school. The confirmation I got from the post office says it was sent....fingers crossed it was received successfully! It was sent using an HP office printer/fax machine

We’ll see how long it takes until my status changes to “Your application has been processed and your license has been issued”.
Just wondering, when logged into the application and it has the note at the bottom that reads "Incomplete and inaccurate information can add additional processing time." is that in reference to your own particular application, or just a heads up?
Maybe I'm just being paranoid because I scanned and sent my results already and my status hasn't changed and I am slightly worried maybe my results didn't make it there butttt just wanting to check regardless.

That is a standard clause on all. As long as you wrote your application number on the top, they will marry it up with your file. It does take them a few days or more to do this and there has been lots of stats / days off over Christmas. Regardless the status won't change now until license gets issued. That can take a few weeks.
Ok thanks. And yes I did write the application number up at the top. They charged my card in the middle of the Christmas break (the 29th) so hoping it will be sometime soon now!

I've had that warning every time I've check on my renewal that was accepted on 29 Oct 21, and it's just a PAL/RPAL renewal??
Newbie from BC hoping to get my PAL/RPAL:
11/20/21 - Took both courses
11/26/21 - Canada Post records delivery of everything to NB
1/4/22 - Finally viewable online with an application number. Shows as received on 11/26/21 (perfect) and "We have completed the initial review of your firearms license application"
1/4/22 - My credit card was also charged.
It's a shame we can't see a status bar. Some people here say theirs is in "initial processing". Is that after review or before review?

8.26 mail received by RCMP

11.04 called RCMP to check the status, being told my application was sent to CFO at end of Oct
1.5 called RCMP again, transferred to NS CFO, leaved a message for call back

Submitted my PAL / RPAL renewal application, online, on July 7th, 2021. My CC was charged instantly. When I check the status, online, it tells me that my application has gone through initial stages. No correspondence from the CFO's office. I hope they are OK with my big, white Santa beard....
Seems they have significant backlogs and have been working on July to Aug applications for 3+ months.Does anyone know the approval speed of NS CFO？
The lady from CFP said that my application has reached the final stage of review, and I am waiting for the final judgment from CFO. When I called CFO last month, she said that they were processing the application from July to August, and the lady from CFO did not say how long it would be finished (PS her attitude was harsh). Should I continue to call next month?
By the way, my application was received on September 29th
