Before Christmas I bought a Roughrider 22/22Mag and took it out immediately. I bought it simply because it had an extra 22 Mag cylinder, however the 22Mag cylinder would not rotate. I popped it out and reinserted a few times but to no avail. (later internet searches reveal that I am not alone) Put the 22LR cylinder back in and shot 6 CCI Minimags and then something happened that I have never seen before, aside from Nerf guns. The trigger snapped. Like so many dollar store cap-guns it broke and weirdly at the thickest place on the trigger, almost flush with frame. The exposed metal felt like sandstone and could be scratched away with my fingernail.

Tenda says its a warranty issue despite it being a DOA item and the warranty center Gravel Agency says they have to order the piece from a source in Brazil thats on backorder, weird considering its "Made in America". Estimates could be a year before I get my pistol back.

My humble opinion: Avoid this garbage gun and get a Ruger Wrangler or Single Six.

I've turned into a 22 magnum fan the last 5 years or so, and the Roughrider intrigued me too because of the magnum cylinder. I never did buy one, as the lawyer safety made me think twice long enough to not take the plunge. Thanks for sharing your first hand report, most useful. You really can't beat Ruger Single Six's, and now that Wranglers are banging on the Roughriders price point...

I was also going to purchase one, but my buddy bought one and it was terrible.!!
The cylinder would NOT Index properly.
The front site was canted to the left. JUNK !
