Correct.

I waited over a month for an item that was supposed to be 'in stock'. Poor customer service replying to emails as well. He runs the 'business' out of his apartment in Vancouver.

I did buy over there...

Make sure the item is in stock, in country and ready to ship....
If not, welcome to hell.

I am sure you will understand my post.

Very unethical and unprofessional business. I bought an expensive thermal monocular from them several years back. The scope was used (could see recorded video) and was not working properly. I contacted them to get it fixed under warranty but got zero help from them. Initially they replied to my email indicating that they have to wait to hear from the US supplier. After waiting for so long I emailed them many times but they completely stopped replying. They did not care about their customer nor about honoring the warranty. I ended up contacting the US supplier and shipping the item to the states to get it fixed. The monocular was deemed unfixable and the supplier changed it with a new unit. Had it not been for the supplier I would have had a paper weight that had cost me a few thousand dollars. Needless to say, I will never deal with them again.

I recently picked up a PVS-14-style unit (Photonis Echo WP tube, mil-spec housing) from Brandon Optics. Pricing was reasonable for a Canadian dealer, and they had options with or without manual gain, no power port, etc. Communication was pretty decent—email replies took a day or so but were helpful and accurate.

The unit arrived within the estimated time (I think it shipped within about a week), well-packed, and as advertised. No issues with the tube or accessories. Everything checked out and worked right out of the box.
