Any Issues with Barnaul 7.62x39 in the Type 81 LMG?

Hey all,

My apologies if this has been asked before, but I'm wondering if there are any issues to be aware of firing lacquered steel case Barnaul 7.62x39 out of the Type 81 LMG?

I'm looking at ordering bulk, either the Barhaul or the Ruag.

3 lmgs i shot or owned did not bother to shoot the barnaul will be fmj or soft point like any other t81s if it matters.

but the same can be said for chinese, czech and other military rounds ...

never an issue with the t81s.

I run barnaul and it runs it fine!

I use the Barnaul and no issues. If you get the Ruag it ran ok in my type 81 but my cz 527 did not like it had lots of fail to fire

My Type 81 LMG shoots Barnaul, Chinese corrosive, russian corrosive, handloads... anything and everything has worked so far. Very pleased.

Ran Barnaul in mine, it ran fine. I found the Chinese bulk non-corrosive grouped the best, so I bought it in bulk.

Yep, exactly. And it's been non-corrosive for me just as advertised, no signs of rust so far.
