Hi
I need help kitting out my AR
It currently has a 6pt collapsable stock, AA NVC EOTECH, KAC RAS, ARMS #40 flip-up backup battle sight and a better grip (what make I can't remember).
I was thinking about a Magpul Enhanced trigger guard, some rail covers, a Tactical charging handle latch, Vert foregrip, a more tactical sling, maybe going with an AimPoint comp II, a CTR stock or 93B stock, a vortex flash hider and ranger plates for the mags.
I need help on finding out where to get these items.
Thanks
Your AR is already fairly well kitted out IMHO. If you want to take it further, then do so...but don't feel that yer d!ck is gonna fall off if you don't. (imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...)
Here's my take on the items you mentioned:
Enhanced trigger guard: If you wear gloves when you shoot, sure. That makes sense. Or if you just want it because it looks cool.
Rail covers: My rail system came with covers. I use them simply for comfort.
Tac Latch charging handle: I've never used anything other than a stock charging handle. It's fairly inexpensive, so why not give it a go...but it'd be low on my priority list.
Vert Foregrip: If you're shooting is more of a "tac carbine" style, that would make sense. If you tend to shoot from the classic military positions (standing, kneeling, sitting, prone unsupported) this may be of limited use...or at least that's what I've found. Maybe it's because I learned to use these positions back before railed hanguards, and muscle memory is slow to change.
Sling: If you use the sling, go ahead and upgrade it. If you don't use the sling...I'm sure you get my point. BTW, you can make a "poor man's" two point sling as follows:
-loop one end of the sling around the angled support of your FSB.
-loop the other end of your sling around an appropriate tab on your carbine style stock. If this is inconvenient, you could use 550 cord or even (GASP!

) a black shoelace to bridge the gap between the sling and the stock.
-AimPoint: You've already got an Eotech. Personally, I prefer the Eotech because of the reticle pattern. No need to switch in my books. If you want to spend money on optics, I think that you'd be better served by putting an Eotech 3X magnifier on (see Koldt's thread on this subject)
-Stock: I really do like my CTR stock. I'd spend the same money again to replace the RRA 6 position that used to be on my AR. I don't think you'll regret spending that money.
-Vortex flash hider: Do you shoot enough at night or in dark conditions that muzzle flash is an issue for you? If not, then this is another item that would be right at the bottom of my list.
-Ranger Plates: Sure. If you're shooting service conditions/tac carbine matches, I can see where quick mag changes are important, and ranger plates would help. As a bonus, this "add-on" will be a benefit for any rifle you eventually own that takes AR mags.
One last suggestion:
Don't spend money on any of the above unless you've got lots of ammo. Once you have a functional rifle, you should only purchase toys to add onto it after you've taken care of keeping it fed

The above items will benefit your shooting performance FAR less than an equivalent number of dollars spent on ammo...and using up that ammo is fun!
